Due to COVID-19, NDIGI's 2021 treks were virtual, allowing students to “visit” more firms than ever before in New York, Boston, and on the west coast. NDIGI extends a sincere thank you to all trek hosts.
An average of 50 students virtually visited the following firms: Andreessen Horowitz, Oaktree Capital Management, Radar Partners, Fidelity Investments, Putnam Investments, Wellington Management, Aaron Wealth Advisors, Blackstone, Evercore, Goldman Sachs, The Jordan Company, Junto Capital Management, Permira, Sixth Street, and Stamina Capital.
In order to continue to assist in career discernment and prepare our students for careers in finance, NDIGI has partnered with the Wall Street Club to bring the career trek opportunity to freshmen (the trek has historically been focused on sophomores). Led by NDIGI Managing Director Erin Bellissimo, in January of 2020 the Institute was able to expand its offerings to include both Boston and New York. In each city, a group of 20-25 accepted students had the opportunity to visit several firms to learn about the many career paths available to them, from the buy side to investment banking.
Thank you Brown Advisory, Fidelity Investments, Finepoint Capital, Putnam Investments, Wellington Management, and the Williams College Investment Office for hosting our students in Boston. Thanks to Blackstone, Evercore, Gotham Asset Management, The Jordan Company, JP Morgan, Junto Capital, Goldman Sachs, Permira, PIMCO, Sixth Street, and Stamina Capital for welcoming our students to their offices in New York.
