BayPine is a new private investment firm that seeks to create lasting value for the firm's investors, portfolio companies and communities in which they operate by driving innovation, digital transformation and sustainable growth in market-leading businesses across core sectors of the economy.

The following BayPine representatives will teach the group about BayPine and their strategy, as well as do a case study!

  • Michael Thomas ’13 is a Principal at BayPine. Previously, he was an Associate at Madison Dearborn Partners. Mr. Thomas began his career in the Investment Banking Division of Morgan Stanley where he advised clients across the industrial, automotive, consumer and media sectors. Mr. Thomas holds a BBA from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
  • Andy Cook: Andy Cook is a Senior Associate at BayPine. Previously, he was a Senior Associate Consultant at Bain & Company, where he worked with clients across the private equity, technology and industrials sectors. Mr. Cook currently serves on the Young Professionals Board of the Friends of the Children Boston chapter. Mr. Cook holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering and a BS in Mathematics from Southern Methodist University and was a Nancy Ann and Ray L. Hunt Leadership Scholar.
  • Alfred Roberts ’23: Alfred Roberts is an Analyst at BayPine. Previously, he was a Summer Analyst at DBO Partners, where he worked on technology M&A transactions. Mr. Roberts holds a BBA from the University of Notre Dame and was a recipient of the Malpass Scholarship Award.
