Mentorship

Something about Notre Dame that sets it apart from any other school is the shared goal of alumni and students alike to live the mission of Notre Dame; which I see is to improve the lives of others throughout the world grounded and inspired by faith. With this shared identity, it is natural for there to be such a strong bond between everyone who represent and has represented the school. I have seen this bond in the mentorship program provided by the Institute, as I have developed a close relationship with my assigned mentor. My mentor helps me not just with career advice, but also has engaged on a more personal level including inviting my brother and I to his home, as well as attending one of my soccer games on campus at Notre Dame. I believe that learning through experience and listening to the advice of those who have gone before you are paramount in achieving success in the world of investment management or finance generally. I believe the Institute, particularly the mentorship program aspect of it, will play a critical developmental role in the careers of many students at Notre Dame for years to come.
