ND VIP & VIBE Applications Due

We have heard from a number of students and our colleagues in the Center for Career Development that many summer internships and study abroad programs have been cancelled. For those of you faced with this disappointing setback, NDIGI has developed a Virtual Internship Program (ND VIP) to continue to develop your skills while also getting some practical experience.  For students (especially first years) who do not require a project based internship, we have developed a Virtual Investing Bootcamp Experience (ND VIBE) to hone finance skills.  Both programs are designed to support your continued learning, professional development, and career discernment. Please email Mark (mdumich@nd.edu) to find out more about both offerings and how you can engage with us over the coming weeks and months.

Students in either program will have a significant amount of flexibility in how they schedule their time to complete the requirements. Given that these are not paid internships, if you have concerns about how the programs may conflict with any existing obligations you have for the summer, please know that we will make every effort to accommodate your circumstances. Aside from occasional live sessions for the entire cohort, you can complete the curriculum and schedule firm meetings to suit your availability.

We will be accepting applications for both programs until next Sunday, May 17th, at 11:59pm (eastern). To apply:

  • Sophomores (2022) or Juniors (2021): If you are interested in ND VIP and being paired with a partner firm for a virtual internship, you should apply through this Google Form. 
  • First year students (2023) or any upperclassmen:  For those of you only interested in ND VIBE, you may fill out a shorter application HERE. 

Those that are not accepted to the formal internship program will automatically be considered for the virtual bootcamp, so you do not need to fill out both applications.

Please note, both programs will run June 15th - July 31st (the week of June 29-July 3 will be off for the holiday).
