Patrick O’Shaughnessy is a Principal and Portfolio Manager at O’Shaughnessy Asset Management (OSAM). Patrick is the author of Millennial Money: How Young Investors can Build a Fortune, published by Palgrave Macmillan. He is also a contributing author to the Fourth Edition of What Works on Wall Street and the author of several white papers such as Alpha or Assets? — Factor Alpha vs. Smart Beta, the subject of which was a keynote presentation at the 2016 Morningstar annual ETF conference. Patrick’s podcast “Invest Like the Best” recently passed 700,000 listeners and was named among “5 Investment Podcasts You Should Listen To” by The Wall Street Journal. He is also the author of “The Investor’s Field Guide” blog. Patrick’s responsibilities at OSAM include investment strategy research and product development. He is also responsible for generating new research to enhance investment strategies through stock selection, portfolio construction, or asset allocation. Patrick is an equity owner in OSAM and a member of the firm’s Executive Committee. Patrick holds a B.A. in Philosophy from the University of Notre Dame and is also a Chartered Financial Analyst. He lives with his wife and two children in Greenwich, Connecticut.
